The goal of this research was to convey a personal experience using story-telling and speculation in mathematics learning. This study was conceived as a hermeneutic phenomenological investigation. Because the researcher was an outside observer of B Ed students specialising in mathematics, an accidental sampling approach was adopted in this study. The researcher was unaware of the student-teachers' instructional style. Two student-teachers and their class eight pupils were chosen as participants, and their impressions were noted. Data on the style of practise teaching from two secondary schools in Butwal and Tilottama Municipalities was collected and analysed using a hermeneutic phenomenological approach. The conjecture promotes students' cognitive faculties, logical thinking, and development of the Heuristic capacity, according to research. Story telling is a way of humanising mathematics, motivates students to the subject matter, and the conjecture promotes students' cognitive faculties, logical thinking, and development of the Heuristic capacity.
