Professional Statement
Dr Rudkin has been a member of the UCLA faculty since 1999. He is the program director for the UCLA training program in plastic surgery. Moreover, he serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at the West Los Angeles Veteran Association Medical Center.
Dr Rudkin's clinical interests include surgery for gender affirmation, the treatment and repair of skin cancer, and nose reconstruction. Dr Rudkin has written extensively in peer-reviewed journals. His research on the impact of retinoids on skin cancer earned him the Veterans Administration Career Development Award, and he has been a co-investigator on a VA Merit Review project exploring bone formation in a three-dimensional cellular scaffold.
Dr George is linked with a number of regional institutions, including UCLA Medical Center and Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Medical Center. He has been practicing law for almost 20 years.
