Fremont Center for the Arts will host a watercolor event on Nov. 17 from 6-8 p.m and Dec. 1 from 6-8 p.m. Come and learn to create your own unique watercolor Christmas cards and enjoy cookies and cocktails in the meantime. All materials provided. Registrations fee is $45 and event is open to adults 21 and over.

Colorado Central Housing to host homebuyer's workshop 

Join Colorado Central Housing for a homebuyer's workshop, located UAACOG, 3224-A Independence Rd, at noon on Nov. 18. Workshop will take participants through the home buying process from loan application to closing and life as a homeowner. Reservations are required for the workshop and space is limited. Old-fashioned Country Christmas

Christian Family Preschool will have an old-fashioned Country Christmas store located at 1011 Monroe Ave Nov. 15-19 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m and Nov. 29-Dec. 1 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Some of the items available include homemade cookies, candies, chocolate dipped pretzels as well as gourmet coffees, teas, gift baskets, handmade ornaments, lanterns and new children's toys and stuffed animals. Many items come from wonderful brand names such as Pottery Barn, Starbucks, Hallmark, and many others.
