Dr Shishir Shetty has over 16 years of expertise as a surgical oncologist. Dr Shishir Shetty is a member of the Maharastra Medical Council, the Indian Society of Oncologists (ISO), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Mumbai Oncology Association (MOA), and the Indian Association for Cancer Research (IACR). He has served as the Director of Oncology Services at Fortis Hospital, the Head of Oncology Services at DY Patil Hospital in Navi Mumbai, and as the Director of Oncology Services at Fortis Hospital.
As the first licensed surgical oncologist from the Tata Memorial Hospital in Navi Mumbai, he has performed roughly 7500 cancer procedures in Navi Mumbai and the Raigad district.
Dr Shishir Shetty has over 240 articles in scientific journals and book chapters and has conducted over 95 radiation oncology-related research initiatives.
His areas of expertise include Trachea, Lung, Liver and Pancreatic, Breast, Complex Thoracic, Hepato-Biliary, Colorectal, and Uro-Gynec Oncology, among others.
