With the integration of digital learning and the use of online learning platforms to aid instructional delivery, the teaching and learning process is fast becoming technology driven. One of the most successful strategies to increase student active involvement in an online learning environment is to use the Google Classroom learning platform. The goal of this study is to see how Google Classroom performed as an online learning delivery platform in secondary schools in Nigeria during the COVID-19 epidemic. The study took a mixed-methods approach. The researcher utilised an online Google Classroom Attitude Scale (GCAS) questionnaire and an online Semi-Structure Interview Guide (SSIG) to collect data on the students' impressions of Google Classroom. To compute and analyse the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and t-test, the researcher employed the Statistical Package of Social Science application. For the study of qualitative data, content analysis was performed. There were 140 people in attendance. During the epidemic in Nigeria's secondary schools, the results revealed that using Google Classroom as an online learning delivery platform had a favourable impact on students' academic progress, attitudes, and perception. Based on the study's findings, stakeholders in education should adequately prepare students for the usage of this platform for their learning activities during the pandemic. Both students and instructors may use the site to communicate, collaborate, set assignments, grade students, and share learning resources. Students can also ask inquiries on topics they aren't familiar with. As a result, the platform's benefits may be put to use throughout the epidemic to improve the quality of teaching and learning at all levels of school.
