With more than 40 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Fabianke has excelled as the medical director of the Medical Clinic of Red Bay since 1980. Moreover, Dr. Fabianke served as the chairman of the Red Bay Educational Foundation from 1986 to 1996.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Fabianke pursued an education at Rice University, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology and pre-medicine in 1971. He continued his academic efforts at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Joe School of Medicine, from which he graduated in 1975 with a Doctor of Medicine. Following these accomplishments, Dr. Fabianke completed a residency program in family medicine at the University of Alabama Hospital School of Primary Care from 1975 to 1978.
In addition to his primary vocation, Dr. Fabianke remains associated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He has been previously designated as a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Furthermore, Dr. Fabianke has been affiliated with the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American Medical Association and the American College of Sports Medicine.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Fabianke has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. Garnering a Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2011, he was previously recognized among the Outstanding Men of America in 1979. Attributing his success to his strong work ethic, his dedication to learning and his compassionate patient care, he is personally proud of having maintained his wonderful marriage to his wife, Rosalyn, as well as his recruitment as the team physician for the Senior Olympics in Alabama. Looking toward the future, Dr. Fabianke hopes to continue caring for his patients in his current capacity.
