Dr Abhey Nene obtained his MBBS and M.S. in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Mumbai. After completing his advanced surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery, the majority of his travels abroad were focused on developing knowledge in the field of spine surgery in centres of renown in Europe, the United States, Argentina, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. In 2001, Dr Abhey Nene received a fellowship from the Spine Foundation. Throughout his 16-year career, he has received numerous international honors, including the ASSI-Dartmouth Spine Fellowship, the Scoliosis Research Society Scholarship, and the International ISSLS Spine Fellow award. The youthful medical community in India holds him in high regard, and he has written two highly recognized publications in the field of postgraduate study. Leading medical publishers, such as the European Spine Journal, India, and Springer Publishers, have recognised his contributions.

Dr Abhey Nene has acquired knowledge in the field of spine surgery in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, all of which are renowned medical institutes.
His clinical interests include the repair of spinal deformities, vertebroplasty, disc replacement surgery, correction of scoliosis, micro-discectomy, cervical spine instrumentation, reconstructive surgery for osteoporotic fractures, and more.
