(@DenverPolice) November 1, 2022 The shooting happened in the 1400 block of Verbena Street, police stated in a 2:19 p.m. tweet. Verbena is closed from East 14th to East 16th avenues, and East Colfax Avenue is Uinta to Wabash streets, police said. Police are working on developing information on a suspect and no arrests have been made at this time, DPD said in a tweet at 2:46 p.m. "If you have not received a shelter in place, you can leave but please avoid the area and be aware of road closures," DPD said in the tweet.
