Linda Sue Whisnant Malone, RN, BS, CPHQ, LNC, the director of performance at NextMed Lithotripsy Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who's Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of health care.
With more than 50 of experience to her credit in health care, Ms. Malone serves as the director of performance at NextMed Lithotripsy Inc., where she is charged with providing a high level of care for patients and assessing overall staff performance. Additionally, she serves in a similar capacity at Lithotripter's Inc. and the Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital, a specialized medical facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Ms. Malone first studied at the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, where she received a diploma in nursing in 1965. Following this accomplishment, she embarked upon her professional journey as a nurse in multiple roles, during which time she gradually pivoted her focus toward quality assurance and staff assessment. In 1986, Ms. Malone earned a Bachelor of Science at St. Joseph's College, and has been certified as a professional in health care quality.
Though her career path has been filled with many memorable moments, Ms. Malone is especially proud to have saved participated in successful life-saving efforts for a great many patients, including various young children. She is also grateful to have bestowed her knowledge of motherhood and childrearing to many expectant women, many of whom have gone on to remain in close contact long after they left her care.
