With more than 20 years of practiced expertise to his credit, Dr. Qureshi is a proven expert in the field of health care management. He recently became the national director of medical effectiveness at Galderma in 2021, where focuses on implementing new strategies and building effective teams for all manner of health care needs. Prior to his current leadership appointment, he excelled as an associate director and medical science liaison for dermatology at Sun Pharma between 2019 and 2020. He also previously held similar liaison positions for Ortho Dermatologics and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (now Bausch Health Companies Inc.). At the onset of his career, Dr. Qureshi served as a physician and administrator for the Long Island Medical Associates Inc. from 2000 to 2010. Before embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Qureshi pursued a formal education, achieving a Doctor of Medicine at the Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine in 2000. Subsequently continuing his studies during his time in the field, he earned a Master of Business Administration at the University of Southampton in 2014 and a Master of Public Health at Cornell University in 2019. To commemorate his achievements, he has been honored with a Humanitarian Award and a Presidential Award. Attributing much of his success to his desire to set a positive example for others, Dr. Qureshi is particularly proud to have established numerous new medical facilities during his tenure in the field, including two in Canada and four in the United States.
