Following the departures of veterans Bruce Brown and Jeff Green in free agency, the Nuggets added 34-year-old wing Justin Holiday to bolster their bench, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post on Sunday.
Holiday agreed on a 1-year deal for the veteran's minimum, the source said.
The 6-foot-6 small forward played 46 games last season for the Hawks and Mavs, averaging 4.5 points on 37% shooting.
In Brown but particularly Green, the Nuggets lost two respected veterans who helped shape the locker room. The hope, even if Holiday doesn't play as much off the bench, is he'll help do the same with his new team.
