All customers were restored by about 1 a.m. In a separate incident, the Cañon City Area Fire Protection District was dispatched to a dumpster fire behind the Alta Gas Station located at Orchard Avenue and Fremont Drive. Lt. Shane Roberts said the fire was contained to the dumpster and its small privacy fence enclosure. Around the same time, Roberts said crews were called to the 1200 block of Harding for the electrical transformer that had blown. Rodriguez said the two incidents were unrelated.
