The fire was reported at 12:10 p.m. and is burning about 14 miles west of the entrance to the Pueblo Reservoir near Colo. 96, said spokesperson Gayle Perez. Multiple agencies are responding to the fire and no structures are threatened, the sheriff's office posted on X. Wind gusts up to 45 mph and low relative humidity is in the forecast for Pueblo and surrounding counties Friday, and the area is under a red flag warning, according to the National Weather Service's Pueblo office. Most of the Front Range and eastern plains are under a fire weather watch Saturday because of critical fire danger caused by wind gusts up to 50 mph and extremely low humidity.
