Hi Dr Spry, today I had my blood tests two days after getting vaccinated for Covid-19 and pneumococcus. I am 89 and feel well with CKD G3b/A2, well controlled T2DM, HTN, and Hypothyroidism; I have unusually low non-HDL cholesterol. Ten months ago I had an NSTEMI, max. troponin 446, I have CAD, atrial fibrillation (I am on apixaban), calcific mitral and aortic valves, a strong heart (ejection fraction 0.69, no left or right ventricle hypertrophy). Both hsCRP and u-ACR were much higher than expected today. Every other biomarker was as expected. Especially u-Albumin is extremely high, about 5 times higher than it was ever before. Is it possible (or perhaps even probable) that inflammation and albuminuria were high because of the recent vaccinations? Thank you!
