Stop-and-chop is a solid technique of nucleus removal and we have featured many videos teaching this method on CataractCoach. In this video we have another resident who is learning this technique and doing a great job. If you are still doing only divide-and-conquer, moving to stop-and-chop is a nice half-step before learning phaco chop. If this young resident can learn stop-and-chop, then I assure you, any experienced ophthalmic surgeon can do the same. Please comment below with helpful advice for this young surgeon.
