The experiment was carried out at Bangladesh Agricultural University's (BAU) research farm to look into the potential of rice grain to biofortify nutrients at varied concentrations of zinc fertilisation. In this study, two rice varieties (BRRI dhan28 and Binadhan-16) and five zinc fertilisation dosages (0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5, and 6.0 kg ha-1) were utilised in a split-plot design with three replications. The Zn treatments had a considerable and favourable impact on N, Zn, and Fe concentrations. The crop types did not differ substantially in terms of N and Fe contents, however BINA dhan16 had significantly higher grain Zn concentrations than BRRI dhan28. The amount of nitrogen and protein in the grain rose as the rate of Zn treatment increased. Zinc supplementation enhanced the protein content of rice grains, indicating that zinc aided protein synthesis. The grain Zn concentration grew in a quadratic line with Zn application rates, indicating that Zn fertilisation enhanced Zn concentration in rice grain. However, it reached a maximum value up to Zn6.0 treatment, which was a 12.2 percent increase above control.
