Looks carefully at the picture here and tell me, is that a posterior subscapsular cataract (PSC) or a posterior polar cataract? You need to make a decision because the way you operate will be different. As we know, you do not want to perform hydro-dissection for a posterior polar cataract lest the capsule split apart and lead to problems. But hydro-dissection is great for posterior subcapsular cataracts. This complete cataract case gives you my best pearls for differentiating the two in order to achieve a successful outcome.
