| Hello! Did you know that tummy time isn't just for babies? It is great for all ages. Why? Well because it helps to improve flexibility in your spine, stretch out hip flexors, strengthen neck and back muscles, improve posture, and assist with core strength (to name a few reasons). And, prone press up which is so important for the development of the muscles your baby will need when they are school age, is also a yoga move (think upward dog)! Check out this video talking about the importance of tummy time and pressing up onto extended arms starting with infants into adulthood! Stacy P.S. We all spend way to much time looking at devices these days, a little tummy time can help us all reverse the 'tech neck' use of devices can cause. |
